If you are that parent that worries about photos, then you've come to the right place. Imagine have toddler twins! Ashley was definitely concerned that her energetic twins would make it challenging to capture any family photos, but you know what, that's the great thing about capturing family moments. They are messy. That's what makes them so special! If we all learned to let go a little of the perfectionism we strive to obtain and just embrace the amazingness in front of us, the stress of the session would be gone.
My family sessions thrive on actions. We play a lot of "games" and do activities that help keep even the most energetic kids engaged. And, during that craziness, they tend to calm down some and we capture some beautiful smiling photos as well. So my best advice when planning your family session is to take a breath and just take it all in. They will only be this age once.
