After waiting over 900 days to say "I do", Hillary and Brian finally had the wedding of their dreams at The Glen Club in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
Their love story: “Cubs or Sox?” was Hillary’s famous first line to Brian on Bumble, which obviously resulted in the answer, “Neither, I’m from New Jersey so I’m a Yankees fan”. She was immediately intrigued. Hillary had just moved back to Chicago one week earlier after living in Champaign for 3 years. Brian had moved to Chicago a few years earlier from New Jersey. Hillary spent every summer vacationing at her grandparent’s beach house in Sea Girt, New Jersey, one of her favorite places in the world. She was dying to know if he had been there, so that was her next question. His response was, “Parker House is my favorite place of all time”. Both had numerous memories of the famous local bar. Both Hillary and Brian felt that no one in Chicago ever understood their love for the Jersey Shore so they immediately felt they had a connection. Brian’s friends also always joked that he would meet his wife at the Parker House, so this seemed like fate. Brian asked Hillary to go to dinner a few weeks later at Cantina Laredo. Brian will tell you that Hillary was an hour and a half late, which of course isn’t true. Even so, they spent almost four hours together at dinner. Brian asked her to go to the Cubs/Mets game to test their loyalties a week later, and the rest was history.
In January 2019 Brian asked Hillary's dad Monty if he could ask her to marry him. Monty said yes and Brian must have been so excited he asked her the very next day! Click here to check out their engagement session at North Ave Beach.
These two are just as sweet as can be and perfect for not only each other, but with the also with the addition of their dog, Jersey.
As much as it has been a bummer for you both, I have loved my extra bonus year of getting to know you both!!! I am so honored to have been able to witness such a pure, sincere love that you share for one another. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day.
