One of the most amazing parts of my job is getting to know my wedding couples and seeing them through all of their life milestones!
I first met Jenny and Joel a few years back when they were planning their wedding at St Charles Country Club. We got to know each other through the planning process, their engagement photos and of course we got to spend a lot of time together on their wedding day! Now, they are expecting a baby girl and I had the pleasure of hanging with them again for their maternity photos!!!!
As they walked up to the visitor center at Cantigny Park I laughed to myself that it was once again raining. It had threatened rain, and drizzled, during their outdoor wedding back in August of 2017. It had also rained out our first planned session date as well as our second, so when it started drizzling that morning I couldn't help but laugh... as well as tease them about it! However, they do say rain brings good fortune and they are truly blessed with little Avery soon to join their family!!
Congrats Jenny and Joel!!! I cannot wait to meet your cutie pie one day :)
