Downtown Milwaukee Engagement Session | Liz & Brian

Some love stories feel like they were always meant to circle back—and Liz and Brian’s is one of them.

The two first crossed paths in middle school and shared the same friend group all through high school. They even went to their senior prom together… but just as friends. Life took them on separate paths for a while, but years later, that same friend group reconnected and a spark ignited. Fast forward to today, and these two are building their lives together in downtown Milwaukee.

Naturally, the city they now call home was the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. We started right on the streets where Liz and Brian live, wandering their neighborhood and capturing little slices of their everyday world. From there, we strolled over to the Milwaukee Public Market—a must for both locals and visitors alike. The energy of the market, paired with their laughter, made for some truly fun, candid moments.

Next stop: the riverwalk. With the water glistening and the city bustling around them, Liz and Brian cozied up for some of those iconic Milwaukee engagement photos. And of course, we couldn’t miss the Milwaukee Art Museum—one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. Its modern, architectural lines were the perfect contrast to the sweet, playful energy between these two.

We wrapped up the evening as the sun dipped low behind the skyline. The towering buildings gave us that golden, glowing light that made their love shine even brighter.
