Michelle walked up the stairs in her parent's home as she has done a million times before. She walked down the hallway to her bedroom and stepped through the door. Except, this time it was different. Today she would step into her wedding dress and marry the love of her life. Her very best friend, Adam. Her room had changed since she last occupied it, but the memories were still there along with her childhood vanity. With every button fastened on the back of her gorgeous Maggie Soterro gown, she left that chapter of her life behind to begin a new chapter as husband and wife.
I loved that Michelle chose to get dressed in her childhood bedroom with her Mom and sister, Meghan, by her side. What a perfect end and beginning to her next journey! There were a lot of special moments throughout the day that made their wedding incredible! Most importantly marrying each other, but having your close friends and family surround you with so much love and joy only makes it that much better!
Michelle and Adam got married at St Charles Country Club. Both have a fondness for golf and the club was extra special because Michelle's parents have been activate participants there for many years. It was an absolutely gorgeous day with the most amazing sunset. One of my favorite parts of the day is when we sneak out of the reception for their husband and wife photos during that magical golden hour. It is such a wonderful time to take a break from the wedding hustle and let being married really sink in. Plus, St Charles Country Club has some of the best sunsets around!
Michelle and Adam, thank you for allowing me to get to know you both and capture your amazing day. I always love learning a little more about my couples during toasts and this day was no different! I learned a LOT thanks to John, Meghan and Phil. All good of course! You two were such a joy to work with! I wish you both many, many years of love, laughter and bliss. Have a wonderful honeymoon!!! Congrats!! XOXO Joy
