The focus stays on genuine interactions, quiet glances, laughter, and connection. A few classic portraits are always included, but most of the gallery is built around the moments you feel, not just the ones you see.
Indoor vs Outdoor
An in-home session is all about slowing down and documenting your real life as it unfolds. You’ll choose a couple meaningful activities, like drawing, reading together, or playing a game, and the focus stays on connection in a space that already feels like you.
An outdoor session, on the other hand, brings in golden light, open space, and a beautiful backdrop somewhere in the Chicago area. It’s a bit more exploratory, with room to move, play, and take advantage of the scenery, while still keeping the focus on your connection and the way you interact together.

My own journey to motherhood was an emotional rollercoaster, with more lows than highs. But in the end, we were blessed to adopt our incredible son and, in the process, gained a wonderful birth family as well.
