Emerson Creek Wedding | Allison & Adam

This past Sunday Allison and Adam had the most perfect fall day for their wedding at Emerson Creek Pottery and Tearoom. It is Chicago after all, so you really don't know what the weather will be like ever. The day before it rained from sun up to sun down. Those poor couples! It even rained on the original Sunday Allison and Adam had picked out, so luck was definitely on their side. Not only did it not rain, but the temperature was near perfection in the upper 50's. Can you say hashtag blessed!

Their day was intimate, with their closest friends and family cheering them on. The bridal party was the same with Adam Jr as the best man and Abby as the maid of honor. Margo, the flower "girl", was a great addition assisting Allison whenever necessary as well as keeping an eye on her ring bearer buddy, Caleb.

Watching Adam and Allison throughout the day was just the sweetest. The bond is undeniable, but was even more touching was seeing how they included Adam Jr in all aspects of the day to make sure he knew how very loved he was. Adam and Adam Jr wore matching Cubs cuff links (an awesome choice I might add!) and they both received watches from Allison as a wedding gift.

Allison wore some sentimental items as well, her mother's garter, her mother-in-laws ring. It's those special details that really turn a wedding into something so much more.

Allison and Adam, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your love on such a special day. And little Adam, thanks for being such a good sport when I kept teasing you to smile. You're a champ! Congratulations to you all!!! XOXO Joy
