Chandler's Chophouse Wedding, Schaumburg | Keeley + Mike

The violinist picked up her instrument and St Luke's Church began to fill with the beautiful melody from the Disney classic, Beauty and the Beast (one of my personal favorites!!!). To the tune of "Tale As Old As Time", Danielle and Barb, the Mother's of the couple, proceeded down the aisle to the altar, where two candles were lit. As the song changed, the bridal party began to make their way down the aisle, grinning with every step. For right behind them was Keeley, waiting to make her grand entrance, her father by her side. Mike stood tall (pun intended, a running joke of the day) waiting for the wooden doors to swing open, presenting his bride. His face was calm. He was ready.

It was an incredibly sweet day filled with lots of inside jokes and laughter. The bridal party, like Mike and Keeley, were incredibly kind. The moment I stepped into the Moran home and said "hello" every girl shared a joyful greeting. Keeley and Mike are truly blessed to have such amazing friends and family by their side. During portraits the wind was blowing and the sun was glaring causing Keeley's eyes to water, but her girls were on top of it. Dabbing and blotting, making sure every moment of the day was as amazing as the bride herself.

This was the second time I had the pleasure of meeting the Moran Clan. Last October I had the honor of photographing Keeley's older sister Ashely's wedding. I have to say. There were so many familiar faces in the room and everyone was so welcoming. I felt like I was one of the group! I first met Keeley back when I was coaching gymnastics. Looking back I remember how quiet and sweet she was (and still is). Her expressive brown eyes said lots without requiring words. It's astounding how quickly time passes.

Keeley and Mike, it was an incredible privilege to be a part of your wedding day. To reconnect with Keeley so many years later and not only see the incredible woman she has become, but the incredible partner she now has for life. I wish you both many, many years of love, laughter and happiness. Have an incredible time in St Lucia. And, as was mentioned during toasts, remember to find a good balance of adventure and relaxation. Be the yin to her yang! Congrats!!!!!
