Emmy is the second McIntosh sister I’ve had the pleasure of photographing, and let me just say—it’s such an honor to be invited back into a family’s life like that. Being trusted again to capture such meaningful moments? That kind of trust means everything to me.

Emmy and Tripp are as sweet and genuine as they come. The kind of couple who’s just easy to be around—always smiling, always kind, and so in love.

Their wedding at Fishermen’s Inn in Elburn looked like it was plucked right out of a fairytale. The venue, nestled in the countryside with its charming rustic touches and dreamy views, was the perfect backdrop for such a heartfelt celebration. The florals were soft and romantic, the light was golden, and love was in the air from start to finish.

But the real beauty of the day wasn’t just in the details (though they were stunning)—it was in the people. The way Emmy and Tripp lit up around their family and friends, the tight hugs, the tears of joy, the laughter echoing across the reception space… that’s what made it magical.

Some of my favorite moments? The surprise letter from Tripp, not just for Emmy, but for each bridesmaid and both Mom, the connection between the McIntosh Sisters, watching Emmy literally jump up and down when the saxophonist played and the absolutely packed dance floor where guests of all ages joined in. It was the kind of day where every time I lifted my camera, there was something real and meaningful unfolding in front of me.

To Emmy and Tripp—thank you for letting me be a part of your love story. Your day was full of so much heart, and I’ll always be grateful I got to witness it. Here’s to a lifetime of that same joy, laughter, and love you shared so freely on your wedding day.
