Celebrating Maggie and John's wedding at Oak Brook's Hilton Resort for their spring wedding was unforgettable. I always say I have the sweetest couples—but Maggie and John, you two might just top the list. Kind, gracious, and full of heart… and if you don’t believe me, just ask the 300 friends and family members who flew in from all around the world to celebrate with you.

Their wedding day was nothing short of incredible. Every single detail was thoughtful and elegant, from the stunning florals to the timeless attire. Maggie and John truly looked like royalty (I wasn’t the only one who thought so!). But what made the day feel so special wasn’t just how gorgeous everything looked—it was the people.

Let’s rewind for a moment to 2016, when Maggie and John first met in Ireland at the Rose of Tralee Festival. Maggie had just been named the Rose of Tralee, and John had been selected as Escort of the Year. Talk about a meet-cute worthy of a movie (umm hello Hallmark!)! What started as a magical week in Ireland turned into a love story that spanned countries and years—leading to this joyful, unforgettable celebration surrounded by the people they love most.

And wow—what a celebration it was!

From the moment I arrived, the energy was full of love, laughter, and genuine kindness. Everyone I met—from family to friends to extended guests—was warm, welcoming, and truly thrilled to be there. You could feel how important this day was, not just to Maggie and John, but to everyone who came to witness and support their union.

Throughout the day, it was so clear what mattered most to the couple: celebrating with their people. It wasn’t about being the center of attention—it was about being surrounded by those who’ve walked alongside them, near and far. Every toast, every hug, every happy tear was a reflection of how deeply they care for their community and how deeply they’re loved in return.

Of course, no wedding is complete without a party—and this one did not disappoint. When I say the dance floor was packed, I mean packed. Maggie and John knew how to bring the fun, and their guests kept the energy going all night long.
