Downtown Chicago Engagement Session at Wrigley Building and Lincoln Park

For their Downtown Chicago Engagement Session at Wrigley Building and Lincoln Park, Lauren and Zack chose to lean into some of the city’s most iconic locations. We began along the Chicago River in front of the Wrigley Building, one of the most photographed spots in Chicago. It is rare to pass by without seeing a photographer capturing the skyline and the beautiful architecture that defines the city.

For the second part of their session, we headed over to Lincoln Park. With sweeping views of the skyline and the famous honeycomb structure, it is another spot that is rarely empty but always worth the visit. Together, these locations gave Lauren and Zack the perfect blend of city energy and a little greenery.

Their story began on Hinge, but it did not take long for them to realize how surprising it was that their paths had never crossed before. They grew up just seven minutes apart in the same suburb and discovered they had multiple mutual connections. At one point they even realized that one of Zack’s friends had walked Lauren down the aisle as a bridesmaid in a wedding years earlier.

Early in their relationship, every date seemed to uncover yet another shared connection. It became a bit of a running game between them.

Their first date was simple. A glass of wine on a Sunday afternoon at Luxbar in Chicago. Lauren left that date with a hopeful feeling that it might just be the last first date she would ever go on.

And she was right.

This June they will begin the next chapter of their story when they say “I do” at St. Charles Country Club in St. Charles, Illinois. The perfect setting for this golf loving duo to start their married life together.
