Downtown Elmhurst & Wilder Park Engagement Session | Nicole and Kevin

Nicole and Kevin’s story began back in college at Northern Illinois University, where they first crossed paths while both were involved in Greek life. Kevin’s fraternity even served as the coach for Nicole’s sorority’s Tugs team — one of those fun, energetic college connections that plants a seed without you even realizing it at the time.

Life carried them in different directions after graduation… until it didn’t.

A few years later, their paths crossed again, and this time the timing was just right. That easy familiarity from college was still there, but now paired with maturity, intention, and a deeper connection that made everything click. The rest, as they say, is history.

Their engagement session in downtown Elmhurst and Wilder park was every bit as fun and effortless as their story. We spent the afternoon wandering around Elmhurst, playing in different spots along the way, laughing between locations, and letting moments unfold naturally. Downtown Elmhurst gave us the perfect mix of charm and energy — the kind of place where you can stroll, stop, explore, and never feel rushed.

To finish the evening, we headed to Wilder Park, where fall was showing off in the very best way. Golden leaves, soft light, and that stunning mansion nestled in the background created the dreamiest setting. As the colors wrapped around them, Nicole and Kevin settled into those quiet, in-between moments — the kind filled with soft smiles, inside giggles, and the excitement of what’s to come.
