Ashley and Sigi are as authentic and sweet as can be. They dreamed up a wedding that felt completely true to them, intimate, creative, and deeply personal. Their Elmhurst Art Museum Fall wedding was the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple. Even more meaningful, they chose to get married in the very place where they shared their first kiss.
After an emotional first look, Ashley and Sigi were joined by their immediate family for portraits in the beautiful Wilder Park Gardens. The fall colors surrounding the gardens made the setting feel even more special as their families gathered to celebrate them.
From there, we made our way around the museum grounds for portraits, including a stop at the iconic Sky Cube by artist David Wallace Haskins. The bold and modern installation created the perfect artistic backdrop, tying in beautifully with the creative spirit of the day.
Their ceremony was heartfelt and emotional, surrounded by the people who matter most. Afterward, the three of us explored the unique artwork inside the museum, capturing a few more quiet moments that felt completely true to Ashley and Sigi.
The celebration ended simply and sweetly with a toast, hugs from family, and the joy that comes from a wedding day that felt exactly right. A meaningful, creative Elmhurst Art Museum Fall wedding rooted in love and the place where their story first began. Thank you for allowing me to join in the celebration!
