Fabyan Forest Preserve Fall Family Session | Mallon Family

We all have our off days, and unfortunately little man Logan was having one during this Fabyan Forest Preserve Fall Family Session. His poor parents pulled out all the stops, but Logan just was not feeling it that day. When routines get thrown off and you add a little cold weather into the mix, it can be tough for anyone. Honestly Logan, I get it. My crabby face shows up in the cold too.

But the key to saving a session like this is to stay positive, keep smiling, and keep trying. And that is exactly what Carly and Dan did.

Behind their bright smiles there may have been a little frustration, but like any great parents, they pushed through it and focused on the bigger picture. Being present, loving on their little guy, and making the most of the moment.

And they had a very special surprise to share too.

Logan is going to be a big brother.

I could not be happier for the Mallon family and cannot wait to watch them step into this next beautiful chapter together. Despite the challenges of the day, the session turned out wonderfully and was filled with so many sweet moments to cherish for years to come.
