Fabyan Forest Preserve Maternity Photo Session | Cross Family

I have photographed the Cross Family so many times now I’ve honestly lost count, and it never gets old. This session marked the start of their second Four Seasons Collection, with baby number three on the way, which still feels surreal to say.

Amanda, full of nostalgia, chose Fabyan Forest Preserve once again for this chapter. All three maternity sessions, in the same place, telling a story that just keeps growing. There is something really special about that.

This Fabyan Forest Preserve Maternity Photo Session gave us one of those perfect spring days where everything slows down just enough to take it all in. The kids, usually full of nonstop energy, settled into the moment. They were completely content watching the birds, especially the geese, and tossing sticks and rocks into the Fox River like it was the most important job in the world.

Soft light, calm energy, and a whole lot of love. The kind of session that doesn’t feel forced, just lived in. These are the moments that turn into the memories you can feel years from now.
