It was so wonderful to see the lovely ladies again that own and run Here Comes the Bride (a gorgeous dress shop in Glendale Heights). Five years ago I had the privilege of photographing Chris and Jenna's massive, amazing wedding and embraced all the craziness that came with it. To this date it is still the largest wedding party I have ever photographed.
Then, Jenna reached out to tell me her sister was having a wedding/baby celebration and asked if I was available. YAY!!!! I had worked with Samantha and Corey years back for a quick, cold engagement session and couldn't wait to photograph this special occasion. And, while it was a smaller celebration (only 200ish guest is small by Greek standards), it was absolutely breathtaking!!!
Once again this awesome pair braved the cold to capture some portraits just before the sun left for the day. Next we headed to the Empress to document the stunning work by Prairie Honey Floral Studio before capturing family photos. The remainder of the was filled with delicious food and great company, plus a few traditional wedding moments like speeches and cutting the cake.
Congrats Samantha and Corey! Thank you for once again trusting me with your life moment. It was a beautiful celebration. Your little girl will be surrounded by so much love when she finally arrives!!!
