In-Home Newborn Session in Elk Grove | The Plunkett Family

I was so excited to see the Plunkett Family again, this time for the arrival of their second son, sweet Graham. This in home newborn session in Elk Grove was such a special one to be part of.

I first got to know Mary Beth and Ryan as their wedding photographer. Then covid happened, and they were stuck with me a little longer. Lucky them, right?

Then came Duck, their dog. Yes, you read that right. Duck. And he is HUGE. After Duck came cutie pie Rhett, who is now two and fully living his best toddler life.

Mary Beth warned me they had no idea what to expect with the energy of a toddler during photos, and honestly, I laughed because toddler tornadoes are kind of my thing. Full of energy, usually a little chaotic, and completely unpredictable. But you know what? I thrive in chaos. It really is my happy place.

And this session was so much fun. We blasted off to space, read books, ran around the room, jumped to Dad, snuggled baby Graham, and laughed a whole lot.

As an at home newborn photographer, these are the moments I love most. Real life, real connection, and all the beautiful in-between pieces that make your story yours.
