Holly and Tommy had the most perfect spring day for their wedding at Loft 21 last weekend. We began our day at the Lincolnshire Marriott where both the guys and ladies were getting ready... well, the guys were being goof balls and having pillow fights while the ladies got ready.
After a sweet first look and family portraits in front of the hotel, the group piled onto the party bus to head to our photo location, the Chicago Botanic Gardens. Now, remember how I mentioned it was the most perfect spring day??? I wasn't kidding. When I pulled up there was a line of cars spilling into the street. Thankfully my team headed out before the group so waiting in the twenty minute line to enter wasn't horrible because they let the party bus right in, arriving just after us.
At the gardens we spent the majority of our time in the English Garden, Waterfall area and a quick walk over the bridge to the Japanese garden. All of the visitors were so respectful of our space and photo time, pausing to stay out of photos. It was so sweet and wonderful to see.
When Holly first chatted with me about their day their number one wish was to have a relaxed wedding day and be with their family and friends. Like us all, it had been over a year since people had been able to enjoy each others company in person. So, for the rest of the night, that's what they did.
