Four years really does fly.
There is something incredibly special about getting to walk alongside my wedding couples long after the wedding day is over. Watching their story grow, seeing their family change, and witnessing those tiny moments turn into big ones right in front of me.
I still remember The Lord of the Rings inspired wedding like it was yesterday. Every detail was so intentionally chosen, layered with meaning, and completely true to them. And of course, a little nod to Mary Poppins for Katie made it even more magical. Even the unexpected moments, like the firetruck pulling up at Q Center right where we planned their first look, somehow became part of the story. The entire day was full of laughter, the kind you don’t forget.
That is why this matters so much.
My Four Seasons Sessions may be something I offer to my wedding couples, but truthfully, they feel like a gift back to me. A chance to stay connected, to keep telling their story as it unfolds.
This winter marked their fourth season at St. James Farm. It was brisk, yes, but the kind of cold that comes with the most beautiful light. And standing there, watching Samwise run with endless energy, it was impossible not to think back to that very first session when he could only lie there and take in the world.
Those are the moments that stay with you.
