Waterfall Glenn Forest Preserve Engagement Session

Kim and Noah are just as sweet as can be, and apparently the mosquitoes thought so too. Both of them were getting eaten alive, even after I ran back to my car to grab the bug spray.

But if you look at their photos from this Waterfall Glenn Forest Preserve Engagement Session, you would never know it.

Not once did the bug bites wipe the smiles off their faces. They laughed through it, stayed close, and fully embraced the moment. And with a little editing magic, those pesky bites disappeared long before their gallery was delivered.

So were there really mosquitoes at this session?

I guess that is something only the three of us will ever know.

But maybe what is even sweeter is their love story. It truly feels like one for the record books.

Kim first met Noah while she was in nursing school working as a caregiver for elderly clients. One day her client mentioned that her grandson was coming over to fix her bed frame and that she wanted Kim to meet him. Kim was not expecting someone her age to walk through the door, let alone someone so handsome.

When Noah arrived, the two of them were immediately shy and awkward around each other. To make matters even better, his mom and grandma fully leaned into the moment and kept giving them little tasks to do together.

Looking back now, Kim laughs thinking about how nervous they both were that day. And now, here they are planning their wedding and starting the next chapter of their lives together.
