Carol Stream In Home Newborn Session | D'Valentine Family

Some sessions leave me smiling long after I pack up my camera, and this one with the D’Valentine family was absolutely one of them. Their two beautiful girls, Mia and Lily, brought so much joy and sweetness to the morning.

Big sister Mia was a ball of energy from the moment we started. Full of giggles, curiosity, and endless ideas for play, she made sure we were all on our toes (and laughing the entire time). She’s the kind of big sister who brings light and laughter everywhere she goes—and little Lily is lucky to have such a fun role model to grow up with.

Speaking of Lily, she was the calm balance to Mia’s energy. Snuggly, content, and oh-so-precious, she melted into Mom and Dad’s arms so effortlessly. Together, these two sisters were the perfect yin and yang, already forming the sweetest bond.

One of my favorite details from the session? The matching hats Mom gifted Dad for Father’s Day. Watching him proudly wear his hat alongside his daughters was the sweetest sight—a symbol of how much love this family shares and the little traditions they’re already creating together.

What stood out most wasn’t just the adorable hats, or the laughter, or even the sweet sibling moments. It was how playful and genuine the D’Valentine family is as a whole. Whether it was chasing, cuddling, or simply being together, their love shone through every frame.
