Fort Sheridan Summer Engagement Session | Ava & Alex

It was a beautiful summer evening for Alex and Ava’s Fort Sheridan Summer Engagement Session, one of my favorite locations and the perfect backdrop for this carefree, loving pair.

Fort Sheridan offers such a beautiful mix of nature and open space, which made it easy for these two to relax and simply enjoy the evening together. Their playful energy and easy laughter made the whole session feel effortless.

Their love story is short and sweet. They were connected through a mutual friend that Ava had been in the same college program with, who also happened to live with some of Alex’s friends. One introduction later and, as they say, the rest is history.

Their next chapter begins this spring when they say “I do” at the beautiful Morton Arboretum Firefly Pavilion. With plans for an outdoor Meadow Lake ceremony, we will all be keeping our fingers and toes crossed that Chicago’s unpredictable weather decides to cooperate for their big day.
