My Home for the Holidays Sessions are something new I began offering in 2025, and they are quickly becoming some of my favorite sessions of the year.
As parents, you work so hard to create magical holiday moments for your kids. You bake the cookies, decorate the tree, and leave milk and cookies out for Santa. But in the middle of making all that magic happen, you are often the one behind the camera instead of in the memory. As someone who is usually documenting moments rather than being in them, I completely understand.
That is exactly why I created these sessions.
Home for the Holidays Sessions are designed to give you the chance to slow down and simply be present while your family’s holiday traditions unfold around you. These are the years when the magic feels the strongest. When the kids are little and everything about the season feels exciting and full of wonder.
Maybe it is baking cookies together, decorating the Christmas tree, or setting out milk and cookies for Santa. Maybe it is a quiet tradition that means something deeply to your family.
One of my favorite traditions each year is visiting the Museum of Science and Industry to see the Christmas trees from around the world and learn how different countries celebrate the season. It is such a beautiful reminder that the holidays look different for every family.
I love hearing about those traditions. Whether your family is spinning the dreidel for Hanukkah, exchanging handmade gifts during Kwanzaa, or celebrating the winter solstice with evergreens and a yule log. Every tradition deserves to be remembered.
These sessions are about more than photos. They are about capturing the traditions, the connection, and the quiet magic that makes the holiday season so meaningful. And I am honored to have been able to capture these memories for the Radosav Family with their Home for the Holidays Christmas Session.
