Lemont Summer Family Session | Kulhanek Family

The Kulanek family runs The Bridge in Lemont, a very popular wedding and event venue right in the heart of downtown Lemont. I have gotten to know them a bit over the years, so I was thrilled to spend an entire hour with their adorable kiddos for this Lemont Summer Family Session.

The theme for the day was simple. Explore and play.

There really is no better way to capture a child’s true personality than to let them just be kids. We wandered, explored, and gave the kids space to run, laugh, and discover along the way. There was a little guidance here and there and a few playful chases when needed, but for the most part the Kulanek family was simply being themselves while my camera and I quietly observed.

Those are often the moments that tell the story best.

You can truly feel the love between them. It shows in the laughter, the little glances, and the way they naturally move together as a family. They are the kind of people who are simply a joy to be around.
