Some wedding days just feel different—and Elizabeth and Vince’s winter wedding at Meridian Banquets was one of those days you don’t forget. They chose a meaningful date in December, a season already rich with reflection, faith, and togetherness, to begin their marriage. And honestly? It couldn’t have been more perfect for who they are at their core.


From the very beginning, it was clear that Elizabeth and Vince value God and their family above all else. That foundation showed up in every part of their day—from the quiet, sacred moments to the joyful celebrations surrounded by the people who love them most. Their faith wasn’t loud or showy; it was steady, grounding, and deeply woven into the way they treat one another and everyone around them.


And oh my goodness… these two are just sweet. The kind of sweet that feels genuine and effortless. The kind that makes you smile without realizing it. Spending time with them, it became so obvious where that comes from—their parents. Watching their families interact, support, and love so fully was such a beautiful reflection of who Elizabeth and Vince have grown into. You could feel the pride, the joy, and the deep-rooted love on both sides all day long.


Now let’s talk about the cold—because December in the Midwest does not play around. Even with the chill in the air, Elizabeth had a dream: beautiful outdoor wedding photos. And they did it! Their teeth might have been chattering, but Elizabeth’s dream came to life in the most magical way.


Their wedding day was a reminder of what truly matters: faith, family, commitment, and love that runs deep. These high school sweethearts didn’t just celebrate a wedding—they celebrated a legacy of love, one that started long before this December day and will continue for a lifetime.


This was the second time I had the pleasure of capturing an O'Brill wedding. I am so honored to have been there to witness and capture it all.
