Wilder Park & Playground Maternity Session in Elmhurst | Hudson Family

When you live in Elmhurst, Wilder Park quickly becomes a staple in your family story. It is one of those places where so many everyday memories happen. For the Hudson family, that is certainly the case.

We have photographed several of their Four Seasons sessions here over the years, but this time the session had a very special twist. Their family is growing. This Wilder Park & Playground Maternity Session in Elmhurst was all about celebrating the newest little member who will soon be joining their crew.

Proud big sister Emelia was beyond excited to show off her mom’s baby bump. She carried herself with so much pride, already stepping into her big sister role. One of the sweetest moments was when she read a custom book that revealed the name of her baby brother. Finnegan.

After some quiet moments reading together and running through the wide open grass, we made our way over to the playground where the real fun began. Climbing, swinging, laughing, and letting Emelia simply be herself. At one point she even grabbed a camera for a few photos of her own, which might have been one of her favorite parts of the day.

These are the kinds of sessions I love most. Families spending time together in a place that means something to them, celebrating the season of life they are in.

Congratulations, Hudson family. Baby Finnegan is already so loved.
