Winter Family Session at Pottawattamie Park in Saint Charles | Aulert Family

This was round two for the Aulert Family—and I love that they’re already back for another Four Season Session. They wrapped up their first set (one session each year in a different season for four years) and decided to kick off round two with a winter family session at Pottawattamie Park in Saint Charles.

It was brisk, but not unbearable—just enough to feel like winter without cutting the fun short. The boys were bundled up and perfectly on brand in their Iowa Hawkeye gear, a college team favorite for this family. Layers, team spirit, and lots of personality made this chilly session a win.

There’s something extra special about watching families return year after year, season after season. Different weather, different stages of life—but the same connection and joy every time.
