Anka and Chris wanted classic Chicago for their engagement photos. Something timeless that would capture the elegance of the city as well as their love for one another. When I saw Anka walk up in her gorgeous dress from The Bridal Boutique Naperville I knew instantly she captured her vision perfectly. There was an Audrey Hepburn quality to her look. Elegant and timeless with an abundance of sophistication. When I asked Anka how she choose this dress for her engagement photos she explained that she had fallen in love with two wedding dresses. So, instead of making the tough decision of choosing between two stunning dresses, she got both! Her wedding dress and her engagement dress she had shorted to give it a slightly more casual vibe. I cannot wait to see what her actual wedding dress looks like!!!
It was the most perfect summer evening in Chicago. Not too hot, but not cold. Just right. We started at the Art Institute before heading down Michigan Ave to the Wrigley Building and finally making our way over to the Chicago Theater. The best part about photos in the city is you never know what cool spots you find along the way. And we found a TON of awesome photo nooks!!!!
Chris and Anka met ten years ago through work, sort of. Anka was working a bar and Chris managed the liquor store next door. He would come visit her at the bar, quiet at first, but soon sparks were flying! It's obvious how much these two adore each other. They already act like an "old" married couple (which I mean in the best possible way!!!). Congratulations to you both! I am so looking forward to celebrating with you this Septebmer at the Drake in Oak Brook!
