Morton Arboretum Summer Family Session | Small Family

Let’s be honest, I will never say no to a trip to the The Morton Arboretum. I have been a member for longer than I can remember, and I even worked at the Summer Science Camps there in 2019 as an assistant. Being outside is my happy place, and there are few places better to spend a day outdoors than Morton Arb.

So whenever I get a photo inquiry there, I jump on it.

The Small family met me at the Grand Garden for their Morton Arboretum Summer Family Session, and it turned into such a fun afternoon. It was a hot summer day, so we stayed in the shade whenever we could. We also embraced the season by playing in the water and letting the boys explore a bit because that is what childhood is all about.

Their blond curls and bright smiles made every moment even sweeter, and the playful energy of the boys made the whole session feel relaxed and joyful. It was such a fun time capturing their family just being together.
