North Ave Beach Proposal in Chicago | Allison & Mike

Mike reached out to me two months before the big moment to make sure every detail was covered. He knew he wanted the city skyline in the background, so together we picked the perfect spot for his North Ave Beach proposal in Chicago.

But his planning did not stop there. He had four of Allison’s girlfriends take her out to lunch in the city while he was supposedly at the library studying. Meanwhile, Allison’s sister drove in from Minnesota to help pull it all off. She was our undercover spy, tracking Allison’s location on her phone and zooming in anytime we thought we spotted them heading our way. Another friend brought chilled champagne and glasses so they could celebrate right after, and both of the ladies captured video to help them remember it all forever.

Allison was completely shocked. As we walked around taking photos, it took her a solid 45 minutes to fully process what had just happened and stop shaking. It was the sweetest thing watching Mike gently kiss the top of her head while Allison stared at the gorgeous new bling on her finger, still trying to take it all in.

And the celebration did not stop there. That evening, they gathered with their closest family and friends to celebrate such a big moment together.
